Plan Backward From Your Ceremony Date
Most US graduations fall in May and June. From the factory, production runs 15–30 days for bulk orders after sample approval — so the rule of thumb is to place orders by March. Ordering early also locks in capacity; in April and May, peak-season surcharges and wait times kick in.
How Many Leis Do You Actually Need?
- Class size × 2 — one to wear at the ceremony, one to keep as a keepsake (very common).
- Add 5–10% spare for last-minute graduates, faculty and photo reshoots.
- Faculty, staff and guest speakers often want one too — ask early.
- Resellers: start with your expected sell-through plus 20% for the gift-buying surge after the ceremony.
